A Peak at the City
The leaves are falling, and the air is cool. The city is beginning to experience the effects of fall. Wonderful colors are blooming from the trees all around and slowly their leaves fall silently to the ground. The site is wonderful. Busy people in their cars are stopped, honking their horns, waiting for the light to change. Each one has their own story to tell for their day. Each person is heading to their own destination. Business people are walking along the sidewalks, stopping at the shops, getting a cup of Starbucks, then off to the next place they will be going. All their stories are unknown to others. Trolleys pull up holding people; some get off, while others keep on going. Everyone is always in motion, never taking the time to absorb what is going on around them. People are always in a rush to get somewhere, to do something, it is such a mystery. If only they could take the time to stop and look around, take in the smells of the shops, the sites of the city, and freeze for a second in time. The city is a wonderful and busy place, always something to do, always somewhere to go, and most people don’t take the time, to stop, and see all of what is is going on around them.
